In partnership with Derby College Lexis project, Derby Book Festival has launched this book of refugees’ experiences both on
their journey and on arrival in Derby. Its full title is “Small city big heart – Stories from Derby’s inner city” and is a moving and inspiring account from students of Derby College and inner city schools. We love the title – taken from one of the writings! It’s available from any of the book festival events this week
