Meet Your Neighbour Online is a place to meet, listen and connect with Neighbours seeking sanctuary throughout the UK.

This exciting new platform hosts:

• A digital version of Maison Foo’s Meet Your Neighbour Installation
• A place to connect and leave a note of welcome to people seeking sanctuary
• An Audio Stories Library to listen to more stories from our neighbours
• A directory of organisations and charities that you can get involved with locally

At this special launch you will get to hear more about how the seed of Meet Your Neighbour was born, the process of making the Installation and meet some of the team behind it. This includes an exclusive interview with two of our team, Maha Alomari from Yemen and Khaled Al-Jawad from Syria. This will be an opportunity to learn more about their lives before coming to the UK, and their thoughts on the UK media’s portrayal of people seeking sanctuary.

In true spirit of our Meet Your Neighbour project, the event will finish with a signature dance party – a chance to connect, move and groove together to a global playlist of favourite tunes chosen by our Creative Sanctuary Group Members.
