On Tuesday 10th September Artcore celebrated with a party at their Charnwood street base. This was to mark the successful completion of their Silent Library project, and many participants, staff and supporters shared food and drinks as project leader Linda Mangstabam reported the outcomes . The project used art and writing by sanctuary seekers based at the Initial Accommodation Centre Laverstoke Court. Here are a couple of the art pieces on display. All the participants felt it had helped them to communicate their journeys and their hopes and dreams.
