Are you passionate about helping refugees and asylum seekers? The New Arrivals Alliance intends to bring together a range of voluntary and community sector organisations in Derby to ensure that every new arrival to the city receives support at the point of need from the most appropriate organisations.
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract: 18 month fixed term contract, extension subject to additional funding
Purpose of the Role:
- Facilitate and support the development of the New Arrivals Alliance for Derby City, a new project to support refugees and asylum seekers.
- Assist with the management of the Alliance and with building capacity.
- Develop and support networks that increase service provision for new arrivals in the city, making connections and developing new programmes.
