Refugee Week will be happening across the UK from 17th-23rd June 2024. The theme this year is ‘Our Home’, and everyone is invited to celebrate what this planet – our home – means to them.

Here is the provisional timetable of events in Derby, which we will keep updated as changes and additions are made.

The main event – ‘Hello Derby: A Festival of Welcome’ will take place on Saturday 22nd June at the Museum of Making. Last year, this was a fantastic celebration put on by refugees in the city, and we were joined by amazing local organisations working to welcome refugees and asylum seekers – including Maison Foo, Upbeat Communities, the British Red Cross, Derbyshire Refugee Solidarity, and Derby CAN.
