Both organisations are making this issue the top priority this year and it will be the focus of this year's Sanctuary in Parliament event. Refugee Action have produced a very good detailed report endorsed by an incredible 88 organisations on this issue, and how it is treated in other countries.…

As part of Refugee Week our partners "Local Welcome" organised a Cultural Kitchen event in conjunction with Derby City Council. Around 80 people including Sanctuary seekers and volunteers cooked meals together in small groups and got to know each other better before tasting some of the delicious results!
